BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School celebrated its 8th graders on June 17, marking a milestone for the incoming Bridgewater-Raritan High School Class of 2030.
The annual graduation ceremony honored 606 students as they prepared to enter high school this September.
The ceremony was held at the newly renovated Basilone Field, where district officials, Board of Education members, middle school staff, and thousands of family members and friends gathered to recognize the class.
The event brought together school leaders and the wider community to mark the transition from middle school to high school.
Speakers during the ceremony included Assistant Principal Michael Godown, graduating students Aanya Mehta and Aaliyah Chen, and Principal Megan Corliss.
The graduation marked the close of the students' middle school years and the start of their next chapter in the district.
