BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Two cars crashed, and one overturned on Interstate 287 in Bridgewater on Wednesday.
On Wednesday at 2:11 p.m., New Jersey State Troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on I-287 north at milepost 13.6 in Bridgewater Township.
According to the preliminary investigation, two Honda passenger vehicles crashed.
After colliding, the driver of the second Honda lost directional control of the car, drove off the highway to the right, hit the bridge support, and overturned, said NJSP Caitlin Brennan.
There were no injuries reported, said Brennan.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
The Finderne Fire Department, which covers the southeast section of Bridgewater Township, is always looking for volunteers.
Volunteers are offered complete protective gear, free training, LOSAP (Length of Service Award Programs), a pay-per-call incentive, a life insurance/disability plan, and an in-house gym.
