BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Bound Brook man was charged after he exposed himself and harassed multiple females at Bridgewater Commons mall, Bridgewater Police said Wednesday.
Officers responded to the mall round 7:03 p.m. on Tuesday, after receiving reports of a man harassing female patrons and exposing himself inside the mall, according to police.
With the assistance of mall security personnel, officers located the man and identified him as Josue Orellana, 23, of Bound Brook. The investigation determined that Orellana exposed himself to and harassed multiple females ranging in age from 14 to 25, police said.
Orellana was taken into custody without incident and charged with three counts of harassment, a fourth-degree crime, and one count of lewdness, a disorderly persons offense, according to police.
The charges were placed on a warrant, and Orellana was lodged in the Morris County Jail pending his initial court appearance, police said.
The Bridgewater Township Police Department thanked mall security staff for their prompt actions and cooperation in helping officers locate and apprehend the suspect.
