BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Somerset County 4-H will host its second annual 4-H Medieval Jubilee on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ted Blum 4-H Center, 310 Milltown Road, in Bridgewater.
The family-friendly fundraiser is open to all ages and will benefit the Somerset County 4-H Association.
According to the event announcement, visitors can expect a day built around medieval-themed activities and entertainment.
The event will include an artisans' market, food, demonstrations, games, interactive activities, a silent auction and additional themed attractions.
Guests are encouraged to come in costume.
Several 4-H clubs are expected to take part. The Society for Creative Anachronisms will also attend.
The event is scheduled rain or shine.
Admission is $10, and children age 5 and younger will be admitted free.
Organizers say the event is open to all ages, making it a public fundraiser as well as a community activity tied to the county 4-H program.
The event notice also includes a call for vendors and artists selling items with a medieval theme.
"We are looking for vendors and artists to sell items of a medieval flare," according to the 4-H.
Interested vendors can find an application at 4HisTOPS.org under Events. Applications should be completed by Sept. 12.
