2. Bridgewater won't ban data centers. Here's what it approved instead (mycentraljersey.com) β€” Bridgewater's Township Council has tightened rules on future data centers instead of issuing an outright ban, making them prohibited in all zones unless they win Zoning Board approval. The ordinance targets large, power-hungry facilities while preserving one redevelopment option on Route 22, after nearby residents pressed officials to protect their neighborhood.

3. Liquid Church wins approval for new Bridgewater home (mycentraljersey.com) β€” Bridgewater's zoning board has approved Liquid Church's plan to convert a large vacant Route 22 office building into a 1,000-seat worship campus, replacing a long-empty former Johnson & Johnson site.
