BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater-Raritan's middle school girls soccer team won its third straight league championship with a victory over Hillsborough Middle School in the Central Jersey Junior School Athletic Association title game.
The championship game was played on Oct. 28 on Bridgewater-Raritan's home field in Bridgewater.
The win closed out an undefeated 8-0-2 season for Bridgewater-Raritan. The team was coached by Mike Germemia and Mike Mackus.
Bridgewater-Raritan's defense was a major part of the title run.
The middle school team allowed just three goals over 10 games this season, and the championship win over Hillsborough was a shutout.

The latest victory added another unbeaten finish to that stretch.
