The BRMS held its annual eighth grade awards ceremony Wednesday June 12th with awards being handed out in each academic subject, academic progress, highest academic rank, and service to the community among others.
Awards were also given out for making honor roll six of the eight marking periods at the school, for getting straight A's during those same marking periods, and above proficient NJASK score of grade seven. More than 200 students were awarded the Presidential Education Awards and 21 students received high honor roll awards.
"As I signed these certificates, I feel such a sense of pride at all that these students have achieved. This is one of my favorite nights," said school principal Nancy A. Iatesta.
