Basking Ridge Charter Day: 2019 Guide
Here is everything you need to know for Charter Day on Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Downtown Basking Ridge.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Celebrating Bernards Township's 259th Anniversary, Charter Day will be held on Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Downtown Basking Ridge.
The event will feature including a street fair, amusements, entertainment, food and art and history show.
The Street Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and showcase local businesses, community groups, service organizations, food vendors and more. There is also a Student Art Show & Photography Contest at Westminster Hall Historical Displays at the Brick Academy from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Entertainment will be held on two different stages. The main stage will feature Opening Ceremonies, special performances and demonstrations from noon to 9 p.m. and the Henry Street Stage will host Charter Day Idol from 1 to 4 p.m.

There is also an evening concert featuring Little Nikki’s Radio from 6 to 9 p.m.
Amusements will be available from 11 .m. to 6 p.m. at Oak Street School Field.
Food will be available all day from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and a shuttle bus will be available at town hall on Collyer Lane and at Ridge High School on Finley Avenue.
