Basking Ridge's Firefly The Pony Visits Bridgewater Library
Firefly the pony of Lord Stirling Stable in Basking Ridge visited children at Bridgewater's Library branch on June 15.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Manager of Lord Stirling Stable Margie Margentino and Somerset County Library System of New Jersey staffer Nancy DiBetta introduced Firefly the pony to children at Bridgewater's Library branch on June 15.
Margentino talked about horses, read "Robert the Rose Horse" by Joan Heilbroner, allowed more than 30 attendees to take a photo with Firefly and finally, the children decorated real horseshoes.
