BBQ Joint, Hailed As One Of NJ's Best, Opens In Somerset County Saturday

GREEN BROOK, NJ — Red White & Que Smokehouse — hailed as one of the best BBQ joints in New Jersey — is opening at its brand new location in Green Brook on Saturday.

The smokehouse is kicking off its soft opening on Saturday and will remain open all week from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until they are sold out.

"Remember we cook everything fresh every day to be able to serve you the best BBQ we possibly can. So if we happen to be sold out before you get here remember that that’s all a part of the authentic BBQ experience and we hope you’ll come back again tomorrow!" wrote Red White & Que Smokehouse.

Red, White & Que Smokehouse moved from Kearny to 150 Route 22 West in Green Brook, where the former Burnet Burger restaurant used to be. The location had previously remained vacant for a few years.

"We are so excited to get this joint open and can’t wait for you all to see what we’ve been up to. Thanks for being a part of The American Dream," wrote Red White & Que Smokehouse.

The husband and wife duo initally opened their first location in Kearny in 2016. Since then Thrillist named the rapidly-expanding business the state's best barbecue and NJ.com called it "New Jersey's best BBQ newcomer'' in May 2016 and again in 2021.
