Black Bear Spotted in Bridgewater
A black bear was spotted at Brandywine Senior Living at Middlebrook Crossing in Bridgewater.

Bridgwater, NJ -- A black bear was spotted at Brandywine Senior Living at Middlebrook Crossing in Bridgewater.
Employees of the senior center reported seeing the bear around 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 24 on the border of Bridgewater and Green Brook.
"It was clearly looking for food," an employee posted on a Bridgewater community group on Facebook. "Be on the look out! It seemed like it was headed up the mountain."

Another resident in the Martinsville section of Bridgewater, also spotted the bear around 11:30 a.m. on Cedar Crest Road.
"I saw it and thought 'Oh my God! It's a bear!" the resident of 26 years said. "It was running in the neighbor’s yard. I was panicking. I've never seen a bear around here."

Numerous calls were made to 911 about the bear.
