Bo Is Bridgewater's Pet Of The Week

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Meet Bo! He has been chosen as Bridgewater Patch's Pet Of The Week. (For a limited time Pet of the Week will run twice a week to bring some joy during the coronavirus pandemic)

"Our dog's name is Bo. He is a rescue dog from Arkansas. We got him as a puppy. He turned 14 in April. In the past 2 years he has been through two major surgeries but is still so determined to push through and live life to his fullest. Nothing gets him down. His heart is always full of joy —you can see it in his tail wagging when he first sees us in the morning and you can see how much love he has to give when he stares straight at you and his eyes look straight down into your soul. He knows we have stood by him when he needed it most.

Bo has provided our family with many years of his companionship, he loves hugs, makes us laugh, tries to outsmart us, ties our family together, loves to be the center of all neighborhood outdoor activity, loves visits from his dog friends, children, and anyone wanting to pet him. If he were human, he would probably be the mayor of the town!"

Do you think your pet should be Bridgewater's Pet of the Week?

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Basking Ridge Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, the town you're from, and your name.

Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be property of the submitter. By submitting a photo to Patch the submitter agrees to give permission for it to be published on Patch.

Additionally, selected winners each week will be given a free treat bag when they stop in Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming inside Bridgewater Towne Center at 732 US-202. And winners can also bring their pet into the store for a picture. Woof Gang Bakery will put them up on their Facebook page as well.
