Bob’s Discount Furniture Hosts Bridgewater Grand Opening Saturday

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bob’s Discount Furniture is hosting a grand opening celebration for its new Bridgewater store on Saturday, March 2.

A grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. and will feature an appearance by the following Bob’s Discount Furniture executives: Pat Davies, senior vice president of human resources and Nick Vassilakos, zone vice president, store operations.

Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of free family-fun entertainment throughout the weekend including balloon clowns and face painters on Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WKXW-FM street team will also make an appearance on Saturday, March 2 from noon to 2 p.m.

In addition, Bob’s Outreach Team will be donating $5,000 to local schools, including Adamsville Primary School and Ridge High School. Adamsville Primary School’s preschool teacher, Rachel Glassman, and Ridge High School’s principal, Drew Krause, will be presented with an Outreach donation of $2,500 each at the grand opening event.

Bob’s Discount Furniture is located in the Bridgewater Promenade at 100 Promenade Blvd., Bridgewater.

Babies R Us closed the Bridgewater location, at 100 Promenade Boulevard, as part of Toys R Us' bankruptcy. The location then went up for auction in Manhattan on Sept. 27.
