Bound Brook PBA to Host Great Santa Chase 5K and Family Fun Walk

BOUND BROOK, NJ — The Bound Brook PBA Local #380 will host the first event Great Santa Chase 5K and Family Fun Walk as part of the Christmas Tree Lighting.

The events will be held Saturday, Dec. 3. The tree lighting and race will start at 6 p.m. at E. Main St. and Hamilton Street. The start and finish of the race will be at the fountain.

Plenty of parking will be provided in the commuter parking lot on John Street and Main Street.

The evening run in the dark will feature glow sticks and jingle bells and participants are encouraged to dress as Santa, Frosty, or wear their favorite Ugly Holiday Sweater.

The route is a relatively flat run, crossing over the Raritan River, and through Billian-Legion Park and Historic Downtown Bound Brook.

Once the run is over, guests can enjoy some holiday music and take pictures with Santa Clause, and just hang out and enjoy the party and Fire Truck Light Parade.

All participants and spectators are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for a holiday gift drive being organized by Bound Brook PBA Local #380, or canned goods for a Food Bank Drive
