Inside Colleges: What's New at Landmark College
Landmark College, which serves students with language-based learning disabilities, will have three new academic programs starting this Fall.
Last year, I visited Landmark College, a unique college in Putney, Vt., that, at the time, offered associate degree programs to a student body of about 500 students who learn differently and who are likely to struggle in a traditional college setting. The students, 69 percent male, were average and above average students with learning differences and/or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Earlier this month, Landmark College announced three new academic programs would be starting in the Fall:
- B.A. in liberal studies
- Associate of Science in life sciences
- Associate of Science in computer science/gaming.
What's your experience with Landmark College and how do you view these new academic programs?
