Bridge To Close For Several Months After Storm Damage In Branchburg
Branchburg Township officials won't know the full extent of the damage until the flooding subsides.

BRANCHBURG, NJ — A bridge in Branchburg was damaged in Tuesday night's storm will be closed for several months - at a minimum, said Township officials.
Somerset County Bridge B0512, Woodfern Road over the South Branch of the Raritan River, received damage to its portal bracing and end post and must remain closed until the truss members are repaired, said the Township in an alert on Wednesday.
A detour and concrete barrier will be set in place once there is access to both sides.

"This repair will be a several-month closure at a minimum," said the Township.
Another update will be provided once the current flooding subsides and there is a full hands-on inspection and repair plan in order.
