BRHS Hosts Hot Soccer Scrimmage Against Local Team (73 Photos)

The boy's soccer teams of Bridgewater-Raritan High School and Somerville High School faced off in the 90-degree heat Tuesday.

Hosted by Bridgewater-Raritan High School at Basilone Field in Bridgewater, the two teams played a full field scrimmage with high school referees. The game was played in 20-minute periods.

The purpose of these events is to provide the athletes with the opportunity to play against an opponent in a real-time game situation.  Coaches have the chance to observe strengths and weaknesses in an official game that will not impact the season record.
