Bridgewater 5K Run/Walk To Combat Heroin Epidemic

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Bridgewater walk/run is looking to combat the heroin epidemic.

The Heroin Awareness 5K Walk/Run will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8 at Somerset Aerie #2137 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles350, Woodside Lane in Bridgewater.

The rain date will be Sunday, Oct. 9.

Timetable:

  • Check in Time: 8 to 10 a.m.
  • Walk/Run Start Time: 10 a.m.
  • Food and Post Walk/Run Activities Start Time: 11:30 a.m.

Registration fee is $20 per person and includes a T-shirt and food. Extra T-shirts are available to purchase.

Along with the run/walk there will be activities for all ages incluidng:

  • Food
  • Educational Programs/Materials
  • Tricky Tray
  • DJ
  • 50/50 Raffle
  • And many more activities.

All proceeds will be donated to: Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey to help combat this heroin epidemic.
