Bridgewater Applebee's Collecting School Supplies For Adamsville Elementary

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater residents can donate school supplies for Adamsville Elementary School through Aug. 28 as Applebee's brings back its annual Stuff the Bus campaign at a Doherty-owned restaurant in town.

Doherty Enterprises, Inc., a franchisee for Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar, announced the return of the drive ahead of the new school year.

The company said participating Doherty-owned Applebee's locations will place a bright yellow school bus in parking lots to serve as a collection point for donations.

At the Bridgewater location, the campaign will benefit Adamsville Elementary School.

Guests can donate new school supplies or make monetary donations intended to help local students and classrooms.

The company said all collected items will be loaded directly onto the bus and delivered to nearby schools or community organizations that help students prepare for the start of school.

Select Doherty-owned Applebee's restaurants will also hold fundraisers tied to the campaign, including flapjack breakfasts and bake sales.

Guests should check with their local Applebee's restaurant for information about additional fundraisers.
