Bridgewater Community Day With Touch-A-Truck Set For Sept. 12

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Annual Bridgewater Community Day featuring Touch-a-Truck will be held rain or shine on Sunday, Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. outdoors on the grounds of Bridgewater Commons, at 400 Commons Way in Bridgewater.
"Following such a difficult year, the prospect of having a community event is so exciting. Events like these really help to bind residents together and I hope that we see many of them join us for a great day of family fun," said Bridgewater Mayor Matthew Moench.
The event will feature a variety of trucks and vehicles that will be available to children to explore including emergency vehicles, construction trucks and a medical rescue helicopter. Kids' activities include inflatables, game truck and kids' crafts including face painting.

There will be JCC Fitness Class demos, live music and food will be available for purchase from Food Trucks. Dogs on leashes with current vaccinations are welcome to attend.
The event is being presented by Bridgewater Township, Bridgewater Commons, and the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Bridgewater. The event benefits the JCC Sustainability Fund in support of JCC Special Needs Programs and Scholarship Assistance for JCC Camp Ruach and the JCC Blaustein Early Childhood Center.

Community Day sponsorship opportunities with display space are available beginning at $350. The artisan fee is $100. All artisans and sponsors are expected to provide their own table.
