Bridgewater Diner Catches Fire Overnight
The broke out just after midnight on Monday at the diner located in the center median of Route 22.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Firefighters were busy with an overnight fire at the Bridgewater Diner on Monday.
The fire was reported just after midnight on Monday to a fire at 1244 Route 22 in Bridgewater, located in the center median, said Taj Ford with the Green Knoll Fire Department.
Firefighters from the area including Green Knoll, Finderne, Bradley Gardens, Country Hills, North Branch, and Bound Brook all helped to extinguish the fire within30 minutes, said Ford.

Everything is preliminary. The fire is under investigation by the Bridgewater Fire Investigator Office to determine its cause and origin, according to Ford.
The diner remained closed and boarded up as of Monday night.
