Bridgewater Hosts Free Fall Rabies Clinic For Dogs And Cats

The Bridgewater Health Department is hosting a free Fall Rabies Clinic for dogs and cats on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at the Finderne Firehouse.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Bridgewater Township Health Department is hosting a free Fall Rabies Clinic for dogs and cats on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at the Finderne Firehouse at 672 East Main St. in Bridgewater.

Rabies vaccinations for dogs will be held between 6 and 7 p.m. and rabies vaccinations for cats will be held between 7 and 8 p.m.

All dogs brought to the clinic must be securely leashed or in a carrier. All cats must be brought to the clinic in a secure box or carrier. All pets must be accompanied by an adult. Current license information at the time of the clinic is not necessary, but will serve to expedite the vaccination process.

"The Bridgewater Township Health Department strongly urges all residents to maintain rabies vaccinations for their dogs and cats. Rabies in wildlife continues to be a public health concern in New Jersey and our community. The best defense against rabies is to assure that vaccinations are current for all domestic animals," according to the township.
