Bridgewater's July 4th Celebration, Fireworks For 2017
The Somerset County Parks Commission will host its Independence Day Family Festival on July 4 with food, fireworks and fun in Bridgewater.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Somerset County Parks Commission will host its Independence Day Family Festival on July 4 with food, fireworks and fun in Bridgewater.
The free event is from 6 to 10 p.m. and will be held at North Branch Park in Bridgewater.
North Branch Park gates will open at 6 p.m. to allow vehicles to enter the park, and the fireworks display will be held at 9:30 p.m. Visitors should plan to arrive early.

Food will be available for purchase, and a Revolutionary War encampment will re-create life during the 1770s. Park visitors should bring lawn chairs or blankets. Picnic baskets are also allowed, but alcohol is prohibited.
Vehicular traffic exiting the park after the fireworks will be delayed for about 30 minutes to allow pedestrians to cross Milltown Road. In case of inclement weather, fireworks only will be held on Tuesday, July 5. Call the Activity Hotline at 908-722-1200, option 2 for an update.
