Bridgewater Looks To Build Pedestrian Bridge at Cedarbrook Park
Bridgewater applied for a grant to build a bridge which will make it easier to access a trail that runs from Cedarbrook Park to Old Farm Rd

Bridgewater, NJ -- Good news for the outdoor lovers.
The Bridgewater Council is applying for a grant to build a pedestrian bridge at Cedarbrook Park.
"The Township of Bridgewater desires to further the public interest by obtaining this grant to construct a pedestrian bridge over the spillway of the existing dam at Cedarbrook Park which will improve connectivity and mobility of the existing trail from the playground area to Old Farm Road," the resolution stated.

The council voted to apply for a $24,000 grant from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and US Department of Transportation’s federal Highway Administration's recreation trails grant program at the April 18 council meeting.
The grant will provide 80% of funding up to $24,000 with a required 20% cash match of the total project costs.
