Bridgewater Man Arrested For DWI, Having Open Container of Alcohol in Car: Blotter

A Raritan man was also arrested for having marijuana and speeding in his car, Bridgewater Police report.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Two Bridgewater and two Raritan residents were arrested recently on a number of charges, according to police.

Bridgewater Police Blotter:

On Jan. 2: Daniel Fenton (age 62) of Bridgewater was arrested for DWI following a motor vehicle complaint on Chimney Rock Road. After being processed for the arrest, Fenton was issued the following summonses: DWI and Open Container of an Alcoholic Beverage inside a motor vehicle. Fenton was released with a pending court appearance.

On Jan. 21: Nelson Duarte (age 18) of Raritan was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 202-206 North. After being processed for the arrest, Duarte was issued the following motor vehicle summonses and criminal complaints: Speeding, Possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. In addition, he had an outstanding warrant from Raritan. Duarte posted bail and was released with a pending court appearance.

On Jan. 22 at approximately 8:51 a.m.: An employee of JT Landscaping located on Old York Road reported a Burglary. Sometime in the overnight hours, unknown actor(s) broke into a shipping container located on the property. Several pieces of landscaping equipment with an approximate total value of $4,600 were stolen from this container.

On Jan. 23: Celso Alegre-Toledo (age 35) of Raritan was arrested for an outstanding warrant. Hewas lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

On Jan. 25: Robert O’Brien Jr. (age 49) of Bridgewater was arrested for an outstanding warrant. He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
