Bridgewater Man To Compete On ABC's 'The Bachelorette'

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Bridgewater man was announced as one of the 35 men to compete on ABC's upcoming "The Bachelorette" season.

Eric Tai, 25, of Bridgewater will compete for Michele Young's heart in the upcoming season. More men are expected to be announced as contestants as it gets closer to the premiere on Oct. 19.

An avid runner, Tai advocates for mental health and to stop the hate against the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, according to his Instagram page.

Tai is one of two New Jersey competing on the season along with Olumide Onajide, 28, Woodland Park.

Young is a 28-year-old elementary school teacher from Minnesota. She competed on Matt James's "Bachelor" season and was the runner-up to season 25 winner Rachael Kirkconnell.
