Bridgewater Pays $100K More To Continue Storm Debris Pickup From Hurricane Ida
Hurricane Ida storm bulk trash pick-up is expected to be completed by the end of the week. It might continue into next week.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Patience is key as the township continues to make its rounds to residents for storm debris curbside pickup from Hurricane Ida.
The Bridgewater council passed a resolution on Monday night to award a contract for Hurricane Ida storm bulk trash pick-up to Interstate Waste Services on an emergency basis for a total not to exceed $130,000.
This is an additional $100,000 over the already approved $30,000. This cost is expected to be covered through FEMA disaster relief.

Moench urged residents to make sure they sign up on the township's storm pickup portal here to ensure they will not be missed.
The bulk pickup is for storm-related debris only, Moench emphasized
"Please keep it to storm-related debris as the cost is ballooning," said Moench.
"This is not for remodeling your second-floor bathroom," said Councilman Michael Kirsh.
