Bridgewater Preschoolers Raise Close To $250 For Students In Need
Students at The Preschool Place & Kindergarten raised almost $250 to help fund preschool tuition for students

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Students at The Preschool Place & Kindergarten in Bridgewater collected almost $250 as part of the “Change for Children,” which they chose to donate to Preschool Advantage for preschool scholarships.
Their donation will help fund preschool tuition for students who will attend The Preschool Place & Kindergarten or another partner preschool through Preschool Advantage scholarships in the 2017-18 academic year.
Preschool Advantage is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve communities by funding quality preschool at carefully selected partner preschools for 3- and 4-year-olds of local families in need.

While there are federally funded programs to cover the cost of preschool for families living below the poverty line, working families making over that level have limited options. Preschool Advantage assists these local families in need. The Preschool Place & Kindergarten is one of 17 partner preschools in Somerset and Morris counties.
“The Preschool Advantage program has given our daughter the very best head start to her formal education during a time where we otherwise would not be able to do so. This program gives her the foundation and love of learning every child deserves regardless of socioeconomic status," said a mother of a current Preschool Advantage student attending The Preschool Place & Kindergarten.
