The filing deadline for the primary election was Monday. See who will be on the ballot:

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The filing deadline for the primary election was Monday and multiple candidates have thrown their hats in the ring for Township Mayor and Council.

Incumbent Republican Candidates include Matthew Moench for Mayor, and Michael Kirsh, and Timothy Ring for Township Council.

Opposing Democratic Candidates include Saad Toor for Mayor, and Marguerite Baranowski and Gigi Ksiazak for Township Council.

Currently, the Bridgewater Township Council is entirely made up of Republican candidates.

Along with the township council race, there are four candidates running for two seats on the Somerset County Commission.

Incumbent Democratic Candidates include Paul Drake of Hillsborough and Doug Singleterry of North Plainfield.

Opposing Republican Candidates include Donald Lemma of Gladstone and Daniel Gallic of Warren.

Primary Election Day is June 6 in New Jersey.
