Bridgewater-Raritan Calendar For 2024-25: Key Dates To Know
Parents in Bridgewater and Raritan can mark the first day of school, coming later this month.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Summer is almost over for Bridgewater-Raritan students. The first day of school in Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District is Wednesday, Sept. 4.
Primary schools include Adamsville, Bradley Gardens, Crim, Hamilton, John F. Kennedy, Milltown, and Van Holten. These schools house students from Pre-K through 4th grade.
Eisenhower and Hillside Intermediate Schools include grades 5 and 6. The Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School includes grades 7 and 8. And the High School includes grades 9 through 12.

Here are some of the important 2024-25 school year dates to get on the calendar:
- Start date: Wednesday, Sept. 4
- Rosh Hashanah: Thursday, Oct. 3
- Diwali: Friday, Nov. 1
- Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 5
- NJEA Convention: Thursday, Nov. 7 and Friday, Nov. 8
- Parent-Teacher Conference Days(Primary Schools Only) Half Days: Thursday, Nov. 21 through Tuesday, Nov. 26
- Thanksgiving break: Wednesday, Nov. 27(half day), Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29
- Winter break: Friday, Dec. 20(half day), Monday, Dec. 23 through Wednesday, Jan. 1
- Homework Free Weekend: Saturday, Jan. 18 and Sunday, Jan. 19
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day, no school: Monday, Jan. 20
- Lunar New Year: Wednesday, Jan. 29
- Homework Free Weekend: Saturday, Feb. 15 and Sunday, Feb. 16
- Presidents Day: Monday, no school: Feb. 17
- Spring break: Monday, April 14 through Friday, April 18
- Memorial Day: Monday, May 26
- Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Middle School Graduation: Wednesday, June 18(Half Day)
- Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School Graduation: Thursday, June 19(Half Day)
School will close on the following days if Snow Days are not used: Monday, April 21 and Friday, May 23.
