Bridgewater-Raritan High School Holds Senior Awards Night For Class Of 2026

Families, staff and local groups gathered June 10 to honor Bridgewater-Raritan seniors with scholarships.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater-Raritan High School honored members of the Class of 2026 during its annual Senior Awards Night Ceremony on June 10 in the school auditorium.

The event brought together family members, friends, school officials, staff, and community representatives to recognize graduating seniors for their achievements and award scholarships.

According to the school, the ceremony is an annual tradition that celebrates noteworthy graduating students as their high school careers near an end.

The students are set to close out that chapter on June 18, when the Commencement Exercise is scheduled to be held at Rutgers University.

Principal Dan Hemberger and Alan Iachini, the supervisor of school counseling, served as hosts for the ceremony.

Also taking part in the scholarship presentations were assistant principals Priscilla Aniegbuna, Adam Leaman and Damian Storey, along with high school and school district staff and other invited donors.

The audience included representatives from various high school departments, clubs and programs, as well as local organizations and the military.

The ceremony was held before what the school described as an enthusiastic crowd, with attendees gathering to pay tribute to seniors being recognized for their scholastic accomplishments.

Hemberger praised both the students and the event after the ceremony.

"The senior awards ceremony was a great success. It served as a wonderful crescendo to our students' four years of hard work, providing them with well-deserved recognition and scholarships," Hemberger said.

He also highlighted the turnout from the community and families who came to support the students.

"It was also a pleasure to see so many happy families in attendance," said Hemberger.
