Bridgewater-Raritan High School Inducts New National Honor Society Members
The June 9 ceremony at Bridgewater-Raritan High School highlighted scholarship, leadership, service and character.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater-Raritan High School held a National Honor Society induction ceremony on June 9, welcoming students into the chapter in front of family, friends and staff in the high school auditorium.
The event recognized students selected for the society, which is built on four pillars: scholarship, leadership, service and character. At Bridgewater-Raritan, juniors are eligible to be invited to the honor society and become fully active members in their senior year.
The Bridgewater-Raritan chapter is guided by advisor Denise Cimpko-Beller and has been active for several years. According to the school, the chapter has organized volunteer programs connected to important school events, including annual freshman orientations.

The ceremony opened with a welcome from Rohit Mudduluru, the current president of the National Honor Society at Bridgewater-Raritan High School. New inductees sat on chairs on the auditorium stage while senior student leaders outlined the chapter's core values for the audience.
Karolina Torbus, co-vice president, spoke about leadership. Elijah Rizkalla, co-vice president, shared the service pillar. Natalie Chen, the social media manager, explained scholarship, and Megan Tung, the administrative liaison, presented character.

Rizkalla and Treasurer Kausthub Potturi presented the inductees during the program. Secretary Crystal Chen and Sergeant of Arms Mikayla Abraham presented certificates to the students as part of the ceremony.
Principal Dan Hemberger delivered congratulatory remarks and administered the oath. The program concluded with closing remarks from Mudduluru.
The annual induction marked a milestone for the students entering one of the school's recognized academic and service organizations. With membership tied to academic achievement and school involvement, the ceremony also highlighted the chapter's role in supporting volunteer efforts and school traditions at Bridgewater-Raritan High School.
