Bridgewater-Raritan High School Student Dies Suddenly

Counselors have been made available for students to process their grief.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School student died recently, the district announced in an email to parents.

"Last evening, we learned of the sudden passing of one of our students. We are unable to give out any specific details of the student or the circumstances, though we expect that the news will be shared within our community. As a school, we express our condolences to the family and friends of this student," according to the email sent out on Tuesday.

Counselors have been made available throughout the school day, and as needed, to help students process their grief or just to listen. Students are encouraged to visit the BRHS Counseling Office if necessary.

Parents with any questions or concerns are asked to contact the School Counseling Office at 908-231-8660 Ext. 477203.

"In this very sad time, it is important that we pull together to support one another," wrote the district.
