Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School No. 258 On 'Newsweek' Top High Schools 2014 List

Newsweek has announced its rankings of more than 700 public, private, charter and magnet schools across the country, and Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School comes in at number 258.

Newsweek used six indicators for its ranking methodology, its Daily Beast website said, including graduation and college acceptance rates; college-level courses and exams; percentage of students with free or reduced lunch; and SAT and ACT scores.

According to the ranking, Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High Schoolhad a 96-percent graduation rate; 94-percent college-bound rate; and a 8-percent free and reduced lunch rate.

The average SAT and ACT scores for Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School students were 1691 and 25 , respectively, the rankings showed. Other metrics showed the percentage of students in the school enrolled in Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs.
