Bridgewater-Raritan Schools Among The Best In NJ District Rankings
Niche.com released its annual list of the top public school districts in New Jersey. See where Bridgewater-Raritan ranks.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District was among the top-ranked districts in New Jersey for the 2020-21 school year, according to Niche's 2021 K-12 rankings.
The district was ranked 30th best in New Jersey and 4th best in Somerset County.
Each New Jersey district received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.

To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)

Bridgewater-Raritan has 8,542 students in grades PK, K-12 and has a student-teacher ratio of 11 to 1. A total of 61 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 77 percent in reading, according to state test scores reported by Niche.
"Studying in Bridgewater Raritan high school is akin to studying at a local community college! It has a huge sprawling campus, with close to 3,000 students and faculty strength of 280+. The school prepares students very well for college. It offers a wide selection of AP classes and extracurriculars which help students grow both academically and personally. The sky’s the limit for the student who is self initiated and inclined to make the most of it. The school also supports student led clubs and initiatives," said a Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School senior.
