Bridgewater-Raritan Schools Recognized As Top For Music Education For 9th Straight Year
The Music Department received the Best Communities for Music Education award from the National Association of Music Merchants.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — For the ninth year in a row, the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District has been recognized as one of the "Best Communities for Music Education" by The National Association of Music Merchants(NAMM) Foundation for 2026.
The NAMM Foundation announced the 2026 Best Communities for Music Education school district recipients on April 6.
"Now in its 27th year, the award recognizes schools and districts nationwide for their leadership in expanding equitable access to music education," according to NAMM.

The NAMM Foundation is the charitable arm of the National Association of Music Merchants, the global trade association for the music products industry.
To qualify for this distinction, Bridgewater completed an in-depth survey covering program funding, student participation, music instruction time, facilities, and community involvement. Responses were verified by school officials and reviewed by the arts education research firm WolfBrown.
