Bridgewater-Raritan Schools Have 2-Hour Delayed Opening

All Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Schools will have a 2 hour delayed opening Thursday, due to poor road conditions.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — All Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Schools will have a two hour delayed opening Thursday, due to inclement weather and poor road conditions.

Students will follow a delayed opening schedule:

  • Kindergarten AM - 10:35 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
  • Kindergarten PM - 1:15 to 2:55 p.m.
  • Grades 1-4 - 10:35 a.m. to 2:55 p.m.

The wintry weather brought about an average of 3 inches of snow to the New Jersey area along with ice.

In Somerset County, the National Weather Forecast offered the following snow totals for Wednesday:

  • Somerset 2.0 in
  • Branchburg Twp 2.0 in
  • Somerville 2.0 in
  • Bridgewater 2.0 in
  • 1 NW Bridgewater 1.7 in
  • Neshanic Station 1.6 in
  • Basking Ridge 1.5 in
