Bridgewater-Raritan, SCVTS Schools Now Closed Tuesday

All Bridgewater-Raritan Schools and Somerset County VoTech are now closed on Tuesday, Feb. 12 due to the impending storm.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — All Bridgewater-Raritan Schools and Somerset County Vocational Schools are now closed on Tuesday, Feb. 12 due to the impending storm, the district announced Tuesday morning.

The Bridgewater-Raritan Board of Education meeting has been canceled and all action items and presentations will be moved to the next meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 26.

The district had initially announced a delayed opening on Monday night.

Governor Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency on Monday night and a winter storm warning was issued for Sussex, Passaic, Morris, Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren counties while a winter weather advisory was declared for the rest of the state, except for Cape May County.
