Bridgewater-Raritan Students To Paint Rocks For Suicide Awareness

Bridgewater-Raritan students are being invited to paint a stone Tuesday to raise awareness about suicide and the pressures with teen life​.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater-Raritan High School and eighth grade students are being invited to paint a stone to raise awareness about suicide and the pressures with teen life.

The event will be held on Tuesday, May 29 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the the Bridgewater Municipal Building's Kid Street Park off Commons Way.

The Paint A Stone For A Cause was spearheaded following the death of a Bridgewater-Raritan High School student this past year. Friends of the student started a club to bring awareness to this issue.

The stones will be displayed at BRHS's campus for the 2018-2019 school year. The stones will be donated by the Stone Center of Bridgewater and provided at the event.

The event is being hosted by BRHS, Bridgewater Creative Art Committee and Not In Our Town Facebook Group.
