Board Member Leave
Additionally at the meeting, Board member Jennifer Loughran resigned. She cited a death in her family.
"It's been a an incredible honor to serve this board. And this might come as a surprise, but it really is something that I've thought about for a long time because we had a death in our family and there's quite a bit of business that needs to be taken care of on the other side of the country," Loughran said.
As a result, Loughran resigned her seat.
"I'm sorry. I didn't think I'd get emotional, but I am. And I want to thank you all for your service and thank the voters for having the confidence in me to serve this community and most importantly to serve students, which is what we were elected to do," Loughran said.
