Bridgewater Roads, Park Walking Paths To Be Resurfaced

Somerset County will be repaving multiple Bridgewater Township roads and also the walking paths at Duke Island Park.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Somerset County will begin repaving multiple roadways in Bridgewater and also walking paths at Duke Island Park this week.

Milling and paving work will run throughout the week and continue through Monday, Sept. 17 in Bridgewater.

(Milling and Paving 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

  • Tuesday - Milling Adamsville Road N. in Somerville/Bridgewater from East Main Street to Union Ave.
  • Wednesday - Paving Adamsville Road N. and Adamsville Road S. in Somerville/Bridgewater from Union Ave. to East Main Street and East Main Street to Central Ave.
  • Wednesday and Thursday - Foothill Road in Bridgewater from Finderne Ave. to Chimney Rock Road
  • Thursday and Friday - Brookside Drive in Bridgewater from Vosseller Ave to Township Boundary

(Working hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

  • Thursday and Friday - Walking Path at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater Township
  • Monday, Sept. 17 - Milling and paving entrance at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater Township

  • Tuesday to Thursday - ADA ramps on CR619 Cedar Grove Lane in Franklin from Easton Ave to New Brunswick Road
  • Friday to Monday - ADA ramps on CR605 River Road in Rocky Hill at the intersection of Crescent Ave.
  • Tuesday and Wednesday - Walking Path at Skillman Park in Montgomery Township
  • Monday, Sept. 17 - Paving Walking Path at Skillman Park in Montgomery Township

  • Sept. 18 to Sept. 21 - CR657 South Maple Ave in Bernards Township from Pond Hill Road to West Oak Street
  • Sept. 24 - CR613 South Finley Ave. in Bernards Township from Cross Road to NJ Transit Train Bridge
  • Sept. 25 to Sept. 28 - CR619 Cedar Grove Lane in Franklin Township from Easton Ave. to New Brunswick Road
