Updated Road Closure List For Bridgewater Thursday

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — More roads are being added to the list of road closures in Bridgwater. Many roads remain closed and impassable due to trees or wires across the roadway Thursday morning following the snow storm.

A list of roads closed as of 10:45 a.m. Thursday, according to Bridgewater Police:

• Vosseller Avenue between Hillcrest and Route 22
• North Mountain Ave. between Route 22 and Green Brook border,
• Brown Road between Papen and Carteret,
• Long Road,
• Allen Road
• Shepherd Avenue
• Country Club Road between Glen Ridge Drive and Golf Links.

"For those people who have trees and lines down, the trees can't be removed until PSE&G or JCP&L have checked the lines to make sure they aren't energized," police report.

Police warn residents to not approach any wires as they may be live.

As of 6:45 a.m. Route 202/206 near Allen Road and Route 22 West near Vosseller Avenue have been reopened.
