Bridgewater Scouts Rake Leaves For Seniors In Community

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Boy Scouts from Troop 46 in Martinsville participated in Somerset County's Fall Leaf Clean-Up Project on Nov. 23.

The eight scouts raked leaves for a senior citizen in the community and filled 26 leaf bags.

Each year, on the weekend before Thanksgiving, volunteers rake leaves for elderly and disabled homeowners around the county who have no other means to do yard work.

Troop 46 of Martinsville, is a very active troop with 10 camping trips a year and a summer high adventure trip.
