Bridgewater Seniors Bake Homemade Dog Treats For Animal Shelter

The residents at Brandywine Living at Middlebrooks Crossing​​ donated the treats to the Somerset County Regional Animal Shelter​.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater seniors spent three days making homemade dog treats to deliver them to the Somerset County Regional Animal Shelter.

The residents at Brandywine Living at Middlebrooks Crossing donated the treats on Aug. 28.

"Our dog was the foundation of happiness in the household," said Brandywine Resident Marie Cutt, "we love to give back to our community."

During the shelter visit Brandywine Resident Gil Radford was asked how he feels about adoption he said, "there are so many sweet dogs looking for a home. Adoption makes the most sense, everyone should do it."

The Somerset Regional Animal Shelter is located at Commons Way and is open daily from noon to 4 p.m. and until 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
