Bridgewater Students Take Home Belongings As School Deep Cleans

Having the materials home will also help students in case the Bridgewater-Raritan School District is required to close due to coronavirus.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Students at Bridgewater Raritan Regional schools were asked to gather materials and resources and bring these items home to allow for deep cleaning due to new coronavirus concerns.

"To be clear, the district has not been closed at this time. Students are asked to bring home these materials and resources so that staff can clean additional spaces not normally accessible during the regular school day," BRRSD Superintendent Russell M. Lazovick said Thursday.

Having the materials at home will also help students in the event that the Bridgewater-Raritan School District is required to close, Lazovick said.
