Bridgewater Woman's Club Donates 345 Pounds Of Food To Pantry
The food drive was part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs Day of Service.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Bridgewater Woman’s Club (BWC) is a proud member of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). As such, BWC members participated in the GFWC Day of Service.
This is a day when members come together in service across the globe to identify an area of need in their individual communities and to take an action to address this need.
In response to this initiative, and because September is Hunger Action Month in New Jersey, the Bridgewater Woman’s Club chose to hold its second annual food drive on Sept. 10.

This pantry serves about 80 to 100 families per month with non-perishable foods, perishable foods and fresh produce.
The number of families served continues to grow with no sign of slowing anytime soon.
