BRIDGEWATER, NJ — On Jan. 15, Martin Luther King National Day of Service, members of the Bridgewater Woman's Club joined with other NJ State Federation of Women's Clubs throughout the state to sort, pack, and deliver personal care products/children’s items/household items to 17 shelters and agencies across the state in an effort to help ease the difficulties of women and children who have experienced domestic violence or abuse.
There were more than 17 agencies across the state who were partners in this project. The Bridgewater Women’s Club donated more than $750 of requested items. In total, more than 15,000 items were collected and distributed.
The Club is a non-profit service organization that supports local, state, national, and international charities. We are a proud member of the GFWC and the NJSFWC. We welcome new members and seek your ideas, talents, enthusiasm, and the time you have to offer.
