Bridgewater's Cost Plus World Market Is Closing

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Cost Plus World Market in Bridgewater is the latest retailer to close up shop in the township.

A large banner stating "store closing" was recently hung on the front window of the store which is located in Chimney Rock Crossing with a mailing address of Bound Brook.

The store will remain open until Dec. 31. Everything must go sales are ongoing through the end of the year.

It is unclear if the store is closing due to the impacts of the coronavirus.

The township has had a number of businesses close due to the financial impacts of COVID including Justice, the Zoo Health Club, Zinburger, Lord & Taylor and more.

The closings have caused financial hardship for Bridgewater where the township recently passed an ordinance seeking roughly $941,000 in bonds from the state to help cover any revenue deficits. Read More: Bridgewater Seeks $941K In Coronavirus Relief As Revenues Drop
