Bridgewater's Diwali Celebration To Be Held Saturday
The free event will include dance and musical entertainment, a fashion show and a special performance of Dandiya or the stick dance.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The fourth annual Bridgewater Township Diwali Celebration will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bridgewater Township Senior Citizens Center at 455 Somerville Road.
The “Festival of Lights” signifies the victory of light over darkness and celebrates hopes and new beginnings.
The free performance event will include dance and musical entertainment by the Bhaarat Nritya Academy, a fashion show and a special performance of Dandiya or the stick dance.

An optional luncheon, supplied by local restaurant Bombay Spice, will follow the performances for $5. It is requested that tickets for the luncheon be purchased in advance at the Senior Citizens Center.
