Bridgewater's Fogo De Chão Brazilian Steakhouse Opening Date Revealed
The Bridgewater Commons location will mark Fogo de Chão's third restaurant in New Jersey.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Fogo de Chão, the internationally-renowned restaurant from Brazil, announced an opening date for its third New Jersey location at the Bridgewater Commons.
According to its website, the restaurant will open on Monday, June 24 at 400 Commons Way across from Uncle Julio's and Cheesecake Factory.
"As part of their introduction to the Bridgewater community, Fogo will donate a portion of its first week of sales to the Food Bank Network of Somerset County, a local organization that provides access to food for those facing hunger in Somerset County," said a spokesperson with Fogo to Patch.

This will be Fogo de Chão's third New Jersey location and first Somerset County location. The two other New Jersey locations are in Paramus and Wayne.
Fogo de Chao, which means "fire on the ground," is a renowned steakhouse where chefs trained in a 300-year-old grilling practice derived from Southern Brazilian cowboys, or "gauchos," treat guests to a unique dining experience.

"We are excited to expand our presence to Central New Jersey and introduce the Fogo experience to the Bridgewater community," said Barry McGowan, Chief Executive Officer of Fogo de Chão previously. "We look forward to welcoming guests to our new restaurant soon to discover the Culinary Art of Churrasco and the very best cuts that Brazil has to offer right here in Bridgewater."
